Description This, like my earlier lizard , was for a graphic design class. The idea was for this to look like a sign you would find at a zoo as a universal way of saying "here there be skunks".

I have no idea if they actually have skunks at your average zoo, but there's no extra credit for busting chops

Yea, verily! There be many skunks in my part of the world. However, they get a mite too giddy in the spring mating season and wind up on the Roadkill Cafe menu, all too often. Hopefully they reproduce faster than cars take them out. I personally have made serious attempts to avoid hitting even a dead one. I like skunks in an intellectual manner as my user name suggests.
Wes

P.S. Where you gave pronunciation direction for Grace's last name, one of my old professors would have insisted on pronouncing Sciuridae as Psy-your-ih-dee. NOT saying I'm correct or anything, who's to say latin is pronounced one way or another. It's a Dead language.

Holy carp! You are amazing at simplicity for power! This is really good. I have a sister that once wanted to be a graphic art designer and now she's an editor, producer, works the camera equipment and whatnot. So I can say with certainty this is exceptionally good.

Also, the zoos I've been to have had skunks. and another thing? "here there be skunks" Don't tell me you're a Pratchett fan.

How can something so simple be so good?

Well, because it's striking, still furry and, well... cute!

I have never seen a skunk in my entire life so far, and I'm 20. None in real life anyway... might've seen a few on television. Us Dutchies here have little to no wildlife to watch other than birds. Apparently there's loads of birds in this country. Woohoo. Well and some of the smaller deer varieties, rats, mice, a few other small nibbling animals... but no skunks I believe. Never heard of anyone around here having seen one anyway.

At least this one isn't going for a Spray..

About Skunks in Zoos: I don't remember seeing them when I last went to Chester Zoo, but that place needs a good few days to explore properly, and that was years ago. I should point out that Here in England that skunks aren't wild, but Disney didn't know that.. So Chester Zoo may have some.

I've gotta ask: Do you like Skunks? I know I do.

Skunks are cute animals. I wouldn't want to handle one, as they're still wild animals and can spray you, but I still like them.
