Anniversary fan art for one of my favorite comics, Starslip Crisis by Kris Straub - [link]Mr. Jinx is my favorite Starslip Crisis character. I seem to be drawn to minions and sidekicks, and given Mr. Jinx's obedience and duties on board the Fuseli, he definitely falls into that general area.
As for why he's "Iron Jinx" in this image? Apparently Kris likes Iron Man. He even shaved his goatee to look more like Tony Stark, which frankly, I approve of. Therefore, Iron Jinx!
*air guitars "iron man" song; looks silly*
EDIT: Oh, and for those not in the know, Mr. Jinx's hearts, among other things, are actually in his "posterior abdomen", hence the power source back there. I consider the power source on his chest to be more or less a decoy.

Remember when Kris Straub said that if he were Tony Stark, he'd make the Iron Man suit his butler? I think Vanderbeam would be Iron Jynx into an Iron Butler.
