Description
This is something that, were it to exist in real life, would probably corrupt the heck out of me. Fortunately, it only exists in fantasy. YAY!This remote is something I've wanted to design for a while, and will likely turn up in El Goonish Shive fillers. It's too powerful for the actual story, but as a way to have fillers where the characters can essentially do anything? That's major fun potential right there.
Anyway, the basic idea is that the user makes use of the menus and options to set up a specific transformation, then hits "TRANSFORM" to make that transformation occur. The same process would be used to undo the transformations.
The basic idea is that pretty much anything could be made to happen with this. It's like a magic wand, but with buttons and a lot of details, so it's more better ^_^
EDIT: An "Undo" button has been suggested, but one is unnecessary. Previous TFs can be called up from the history option and set to be undone from there.
EDIT: Fixed a couple typos

The gadget is useless if you sell your soul.
Selling the neighbors soul is a different story.

Good for you.
In case you change your mind however do your research.
And no matter what don't do business with slogdirf or any minion of the slogdirf empire.
And make sure once the neighbor is a mindless drone that they move far away.

Although I think an "undo" button would be a good idea, just in case.

"Undo" can effectively be achieved by using the history menu.

Just thinking from a customer service perspective. If you accidently zap your Aunt Gertrude into a 12-foot tall slobbering tentacle beast, you don't want to be scrolling through a menu to reverse it.

Does it have an undo button? I mean, accidentally sit on it, and suddenly the sky is pink, you're a neutered weasel in a polka-dot zoot suit, air is metallic, and your TV is feral! Whoops.

As part of an optional test protocol, we are pleased to present you with an amusing fact: [device_name_here] is now worth more than the combined incomes and vital organs of [subject_homeworld_here].
Seriously. that thing would be sold for at the very least 10 times that, most likely more - the power to alter reality is VERY valuable, and a device like that could make the user God

Correction: Such a thing would not be sold...
Unless there was a) a counter possessed by the seller or b) it's like that one webcomic where the people in a higher dimension were given god-remotes to dimensions they bought, where they would be as gods.

if you must be specific it could be God/Goddess/Gods/Goddesses depending on the number of remotes produced and who owns it, but it doesn't really matter. and I'm talking about a man-made God - someone all powerful - not a religious figure

But what if the TFMote was used on The Pope? I know the church has made it a law that females shouldn't hold the same position as father's (etc), but if the Pope was female...or even something else? What type of impact shall that have on the single largest religion in the world?

Ah, there's a legend about this. Completely nonfactual, of course, but Pope Joan was a mythical Pope who pretended to be a man and was stoned when she gave birth unexpectedly.

Oh yes, I had heard of her. Another version has it that she was allowed to live out her days in some other part of the world (a spin off version has her child becoming a later Pope).

Was there a reason why felt the need to have an issue with something said 5 years ago? I mean honestly, this is so long ago that in terms of how the internet works that life shouldn't even have formed by that point in time.
Ah well, because of this.

Really kid, really? Trying to give yourself the big titles in the hope that it means something? If you think that is the case, then know I'm going to tell you straight on this, they don't matter. I don't care who you think you are, who think think you might be or whatever it is you think you are doing. The fact you are running about the way you are gives me a very strong impression of whom you really are.
And to me, you SMELL of fresh meat.
Why do I say that? Because of the way you have acted here and the way you keep acting. To you this is all a large plaything where nothing happens. Just one problem kid, there are and shall always be, consequences to your actions. More then you can ever picture in the spot that your nighmares come from.
Count that as the warning, as while the Vixen tf was a playful way to end this. Your action, well...
*Even before you can react to having changed me, two knives fly out and pin you to the wall. You barely have time to react to impact of those knives before 6 more fly near you close enough to make it clear you have no escape routes if you try. Your reactions to these finally break when a hand presses down onto your neck with a grip tight enough to make it hard to breath, that is, if the other hand wasn't already holding a knife just near your windpipe.
(As your a neeb, I'm going to make it simple for you. Search the name Squata either here on dA or on google. That should give you an idea of what you just unleashed. ENJOY!)
