This is fan art of Triana Orpheus from the Venture Bros . I foolishly sketched and inked her in one of my sketchbooks with lower quality paper, so this image is nowhere as clean as I would've liked.

Triana, along with her father, are two of my favorite characters on the show. I like Dr. Orpheus because everything he does is over-the-top dramatic, and I like Triana because I'm a sucker for girls dressed as she dresses and she's actually a nice person. It's refreshing for the love interest of a naive character (in this case, Dean) to not be a dismissive jerk.

In this image, Triana is doing some sort of magic. I haven't had a chance to check out season 2 in full, so this may be innaccurate at this point as far as I know, but yes, I'm aware that Triana doesn't use magic. I just felt like ignoring that particular caveat.

The Venture Bros is a show that I'm rooting for success wise, and not just because I like it. It's an American written animated series geared towards an older audience that isn't a stand-up of sitcom and has good production values (in spite of their supposedly low budget). Its success is good for the future of American animated TV, so I'm hoping it will last for many, many years. I'm also hoping it will one day air at a time that's more convenient for me so I don't have to wait for DVD to see the latest episodes, but I'm not holding my breath
