Description
So my friends and I (aka Curse, Terra, Ashe, and Kinoms) decided to do a weekly drawing theme. This week? Shadow the hedgehog.
I did Sky Rail not to long ago and thought I should draw him again. He's fun, but frustrating in alot of aspects.
Anyway, I decided to do something like a wind-up for a chaos control. Woot.
ALSO, for future reference, DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT ever use a 2000px smudge brush when doing a sky because CS3 will try to render for 45 mins and freeze the computer up -_-.

All right, I won't use a 2000px smudge brush on CS3...I hate it when CS3 and/or depending on the Photoshop verisons I use to have does it...-_-" So okay I'll take your reference.

Nahhhhh i joke, this is quite a stunning piece of art, the sky and clouds looks just like the ones that would be outside my window if it wasnt half past 11. B'(
The shading that you did on shadow is brilliant and it fits the scene so well and i love the rings of energy near his feet, they looks so shiny~

Very well done indeed, although I think that the red part of the right elbow (the left one in the pic) is a bit too big, and that Shadow doesn't have this much chest-fur.

Truly impressive. It surprised me since I turned a page in my DA watch to find this all alone on the other side.
The lighting in this truly make this very dynamic. The background makes you feel as though he's falling from the stars to the big blue sky surrounding him. Very detailed and his face is so expressive. You've did a fine job indeed.

yeah my friend ashentar said so too. i think it was larger because of the strain on the pose, but it's also super hard to be able to draw a hand in that position. (i cant bend my own hand like that and draw x_x)

Most likely. Certain poses can be a pain to do because you can't position yourself in it good enough to get a good idea as to what is supposed to be where. :/

I've done that before with the smudge. It was terrible .___. I had a slow computer, and I was constantly smearing the whole thing (it was 270 px) ..lagged like insanity .__.

I love the professioanlism in this! Shadow's pose and expression are really awesome! The shadings and highlights are so spectacular, particularly with his eyes and the Chaos Emerald! I also love the tiny details that I can see!
The streaks and other shapes in the half-day/half-night sky are very terrific and jawdropping!
I love it all! It's an instant fave! I applaud!
