Still with me (Seven Lions remix) - Tritonal
Well, it looks like it was about time for me to try the 'draw it again meme' here on dA. I did have alot of people saying I have improved but I didn't really find myself convinced of it. Therefore I decided to do it and really feel that I've come along way. In the spirit of things, I decided to take an image from approximately 2 years ago (not even as it was uploaded Oct 24, 2010) and give it the ol' DS treatment.

This is what we have and quite honestly I'm scared over how different they are. @_@.
This proves alot of things to me, but I'll write that in the meme itself. This was loads of fun and shows me that I'm very far along in comparison to 2010. Heh, just a few short years.
Thanks to everyone who attended the LS, It means alot with your support. I probably wouldn't be anywhere close to this level if it wasn't for you guys.

well it really also depends on the admin. I've seen one deny a suggestion i made for a friend and then a month or so later it was a DD. *shrug*

I'm honestly surprised this hadn't been featured sooner! I don't normally look at DD's, but I glanced down and the colors really caught my eye here. I love how this is an entirely original work, as you don't see anthropomorphic characters getting featured too often. From the looks of it, your character has grown and evolved into something truly yours. I love his fierce, determined expression! The intense complementary colors add a lot of tension to the scene, as well. His pose looks like it has a lot of power behind it, just waiting to be unleashed.
I also like the background, it contrasts his blue colors nicely. It has just the right amount of detail to not distract from the main subject, but manages to pronounce his presence.
I don't think I need to tell you that you did a great job, Dan! Congrats on the feature.

thanks Myla, this means alot coming from you, as you're probably one of the better colorists I can think of off the top of my head. I got very excited seeing this got a DD with something that wasn't sonic fan art (which assures me that anthro is a good thing to keep pursuing.)
