Long time no upload. Been busy, life is complicated, but I'm surviving. Been teaching myself a new style, where painting is the key component. Pushing my boundaries alot. But it's a ton of fun.OTL please don't smack me if it's not your prefered style from me.

Okay, first off, holy cow. You've improved so darn much Dan! You anatomy is almost perfect, the stance is clear; as is the expression and mood of the piece, you can clearly tell what's where and why certain visual have been shown and the others covered. I can clearly understand where Faulkner comes from and some parts to his personality, I just hope people look for the minor details and hints you've placed all over this piece.
It's nice to see your style coming out too, I was certain this was yours (upon seeing the thumbnail in my inbox) without needing to look for a username on the notification. Props to you on that! However, upon further study, there are a few little places which could do with edit/change/improvement overtime; this being the fur. In some places, it blends in very well with the overall look, whilst in others... eh, not so much. I can't help but feel a little bothered about (his) right arm too—holding the scotch—as when you cut off the excess fur at his elbow, the forearm is too thin in comparison to the bicep. It's either that or daymn, he got some muscles. Faulkner's face and free hand could do with a little more work on that subject, since the nose feels off when compared to the rotation of the head—it's too straight and would curve just like the face—and to me the hand just feels like it's floating, there's no pressure on the glass or slight bend to the tips.
Clothing folds, oh my god, I'm simply in love with the clothing folds. It's a really tricky thing to pull off when compared to fur or hair, and—although it could do with a little more blending work—the folds feel natural and not at all forced. I think the key part is the arm and tie, since you're using a colour which really stands out above the cooler colours in this image, you just need to push those colours a tad more and bam! You've got it. Just make sure your highlight colour, or third colour, is done the best if anything.
Now, for my favourite part, the background! Oh goodness, I love your backgrounds the most. They're full of life and really add to the details in an image. I see minimal errors with perspective and ugh... they're to die for. You use glow effects so so well, and the texture on the flooring really finishes this off and my attention is clearly drawn to that area of the image, so his face, arm and fish tank are clearly in my vision.
Props to you for trying something new! I really like Faulkner the most out of your OC's, so I'd like to see more.

Me and my friend are gonna' find a plastic bag to stick you in to keep you in. I promise, I won't shake the bag. Then we're gonna'- *vomits all over the floor* . . . ugh . . . Syron . . . get me a wet wash cloth and *vomits more* . . . and get me an ice bag.
