That reminds me of the old PS1 game MegaMan Legends where I made the player character, MegaMan Volnutt, kick the vending machine for me to get extra drinks to restore my lost HP. I made him kick too much until the vending machine is destroyed. But that gave him a bad reputation...
That's what this scene almost reminded me of. And nice you put Wesker in; didn't know both he and Pod 042 have the same VA. That explains it; I think you imagined the guy doing Pod's dialogues with Wesker's voice style, huh? It's like going to a con and ask the VA who did two or three famous characters in animation and gaming to do the dialogue of character A in the voice style of character B; I've seen YouTube vids of that. They're so damn cool to watch.
