I worked on a group picture with my favorite Hack n Slash games.I love to make stylish combos and holding the enemies in the Air with the Guns, and all this with a awesome Industrial Metal soundtrack in DMC. To kick the asses of Gods and exploren the old greek mythology in GoW. To face really smart AI Ninjas and using alot of fast killing weapons in NG. And to send the Angels into hell in Bayonetta.
still Devil May Cry will be the King of HnS games to me. <3
Cuz it was my first HnS game and it showed me the love of games like this.
i also enjoyed DmC, Metal Gear Rising, Darksiders 1+2,Dante´s Inferno, Lollipop Chainsaw and Splatterhouse. well not sure if you could count Lollipop Chainsaw and SplatterHouse as Hack n Slash. xD

Ryu Hayabusa,Dante, and Cereza are my all time favorite hack and slash trio of all time. They are more than enough for any viable threats that could arise. Kratos is there for support since Metal Gear Rising's Raiden has a family to look after.

I only played Devil May Cry 4, So never personally played Dante. But i have played God of War 3 and God of War Ascension. and I have played Ninja Gaiden 2, 3, and Razor's Edge. and plenty of warriors games. So i think Ryu, Kratos, and Bayonetta definitely deserve the spots as Kings (queen in Bayonetta's case) spot in hack and slash. Not sure with Dante since i never played DMC 1 - 3

Well, in a way, DMC created the genre as we know it nowdays. the creator of GoW said that he took some inspiration for GoW by the gameplay from DMC.
And the Developers who made Bayonetta, worked on the first DMC, before Capcom kicked them out. And Bayonetta and DMC sharing alot in common.

Sadly I have yet to get that one. I want to get it though so i can play DMC 1 - 3, since i only been able to play as Nero from DMC4.
Well i will be honest I never knew the creators of God of War got inspired by Capcom's Devil May Cry. that is definitely news to me.
