If the New Dante Really Wasn't Called "Dante" but he was a New Character, it may be Better then now

Even DMC2 can say that at least it has a great soundtrack (in my view) and the ability to play as three different characters.
DmC added nothing new to the series and only subtracted a lot of basic features we the fans take for granted such as lock on,taunts, and so on.

I really wonder what Capcom was thinking. Why did they thought that Devil may cry needed to be rebooted? There was so much more they could have explored like Neros back story and so much more.
And people say that Capcom rebooted DMC because of the sales of DMC4 but that's a lie because from what I know DMC4 sold very well. So Capcom had no need to reboot this great series, I think they wanted to get out of the shadows of DMC since the series origanl creator left them and made better games like Bayyaneta.

if I were capcom, I'd sue ninja theory till their last penny for using dmc, dante and everything else concerning the game in this (supposed) reboot.

But Capcom was the one who came to them, and they're the ones who wanted the complete change. They're just as much responsible for DmC as NT.

I never wished for Dante to get pierced through the chest with his own sword as I do now... with the new "Dante"

I don't thing Tamte could survive it in the first place so run him through! Dante shakes it of, and even Nero took his fair share, but Tamte looks to frail for it and even if they do it, it'll feel forced.

Thought so... And piercing Dante through the chest with his own sword is already a tradition that shows how badass Dante is
