Description
Well, here it is. A fully working version of my Lego board game, "Cretasia." A lot of time, money, and parts went into making this, but in the end it was worth every bit. As some of you may have already recognized by now, the testing map in the middle is something you've already seen. What is new is whats surrounding the map. There are a few key features here that need to be explained. The first is the character cards. From this point of view, you can see them running along the right hand side of the map. When you look at each unit you will see four rows of different colored studs. These rows indicate that units stats. Red represents Health, blue represents Physical Strength/Magic Damage, yellow represents Armor, and green represents Magic Resistance. There are also other stats such as movespeed, but it is a global stat that affects all units. For the beta map, all ground units have a movespeed of three spaces, mounted and flying units can move five spaces, and heroes can move four spaces. I also want to point out that all basic units can buy and equip a backpack and carry items into battle as well. Now let me explain the Hero card. Unlike normal unit cards, the Hero card will be your main focus. The hero you pick will have much higher stats than normal units with a maximum cap of eight, as compared to six. The Hero you pick also comes equipped with four special abilities that can be triggered throughout the game. Three of the four can be activated with rolls of the dice, while one is active at all times, and requires no roll of the dice. In order to activate your hero's special abilities you must roll three dice, each labeled with a special golden crest. If you managed to roll one crest, your level one ability is unlocked for you to use that turn, two dice unlock your level two ability, and all three unlock your ultimate. If you ever find yourself down in a game, an ultimate ability can quickly turn the tide of battle in your favor. As you can see above, there are three brown tiles and one white tille on the Hero card. The active ability icon plates go on the brown tiles, while the passive that requires no rolls goes on the white tile. You can also see that there is a red tile next to where your hero is standing. To keep things simple for now, any of your units can pair up with your hero. Once this is done, the unit that joined up with your hero can no longer attack, but instead grants a stat bonus to the hero based on what the units most powerful stat is. However, the stat bonuses from that unit can not go beyond the cap of eight. One last thing before moving on, and that is that your hero also comes with an expanded inventory, which allows for many more items to be carried out onto the battlefield. Now moving over to the the left side, this part is easy. Here we have two shops. Each player has different themed shops, but they both carry the same items. In the shop on the far left, we have the potion shop. Here you can buy anything from your standard recovery items, to stat increasing items, and even unique potions that let you strike twice in a turn, or even grant you double dice rolls for your hero's turn. However, once a potion is bought, its gone until the shop restocks later in the game. The other shop on the right is the forge. Here you can buy different weapons that both increase your units' power, and even add effects to their attacks. Armor can also be bought, which also come equipped with special abilities of their own. I'll be adding more pictures and including links below that show in better details my explanations.Related content

Ahh the memories. I built a huge race track with lego and a pirate island too. They were set up in a spare room at grandparents the track covered the bed and pirates on a drop leaf table

I can remeber those days when I would do crazy stuff like that when I was kid. Mine wasn't a race track, but I had a large train display that I made go up inclines and down the stairs/hill. If you liked this, you definitely need to see my gallery then. Most of it is stuff I sell nowadays, but there should be a good bit of stuff to bring back that feeling of nostalgia.

Over the past few years I've only been selling them locally to people from my school, but I'm currently in the middle of overhauling my entire work system, and I plan on starting to sell my work online for a good price. My pricing is always ten cents per piece (lego's standard) and then a commission fee depending on how big the model is.

lego models. Right now, my working space is a bit "cramped" and getting a new space that is triple the size of what I currently have is a huge upgrade. I'm even planning on uploading my work to youtube as soon as I get a new computer. It's a work in progress situation, but I hope to have everything done by the end of July.
