I knew what part it was when i saw the thumbnail. The emotion is so palpable, & i like how you included Thorondor swooping in from behind.

This is a fantastic picture - I love the background, and I'm truly envious of your watercolour skills. One thing I'd say, though, is that his eyes look a little too big for his face. I mean, it may well be a style thing, I've not yet had a chance to look at the rest of your gallery. Still, with the rest of it being a more realistic style (especially the skintone and shadows of the face <3) the eyes look a little out of place.
Still an amazing painting, though.

Yes, I'm aware that the eyes I draw are sometimes much bigger than in real. For me it is closely connected to my point of view about what beauty is - that's partly why I draw elves with big (as some of my friends have said "iconic") eyes...
