Dimitri: Drat! Drat, Drat! Drat Drat! I’ve missed my chance. I was doing so well. My mother caught me using the blender again. I’ve waited for her to do the shopping, but she forgot her purse and caught me. All the climbing it took to reach it. I don’t cry because it hurts, I cry because I’ve failed. Despite my thoughts, I would not have prevailed. They always grow back! Why am I subjected to be this way!? Are these really my hands! Who made me look like this!?
Melinda: Child! What are you doing!? I’ve told you over and over again! Stop doing this to yourself! Must I take all the sharp objects out of house and home!? Dimitri, my son. Some day you will come to understand. This is a gift. The good Lord has blessed thee with a purpose. You are not a freak. You are my son. I’ll tell you a thousand times more, but I don’t want to see my son doing this. How would your father fair if he were still alive?
Dimitri: Mother, my father is long gone because of what I am. A man of holiness felt cursed by the devil in the black suit with no face. He took his own life, therefore I am not blessed. I am the incarnation of what stalks me during the day and the night. Speak your lecture a thousand times more, but it falls on deaf ears. I have crushed my hands. I have sliced them, peeled them, burned them, and even eaten them. THEY ALWAYS GROW BACK! It is a curse. Why can’t you see this!?
Melinda: My son, you speak of such horrors I don’t witness when I run the errands. Please be a good boy and just play with your toys. A mother’s heart is weak when her own child can’t be happy. Please…please, please, please. I beggeth thee. Leave self alone, and be happy. There is nothing I can do of your appearance because the good Lord has made you this way for a reason. The day will come for you to understand.
Dimitri: And these thorns that nearly slay your skin when you come close only to hug your child?
Melinda: I don’t care about it. You are my child, and I will hug you despite the dangers. A mother’s heart can be weak, but a mother’s love is always strong. I’m impenetrable to the one I’ve birthed. Dimitri…I love you…Please…stop this.
Dimitri: I can’t…
Melinda: Why…?
Dimitri: Because it’s funny…

The blood is drawn really well, and the expressions are very realistic. The perspective is also done realistically. I like how you are adding a bit of Father Madness' past with various pictures, and this one is my favorite. The anime art style of the people is different from the realistic style of the wall of what I think is the house, which is quite original, since if people are drawing anime style, everything in the picture is anime style. The dialogue you added in the description matches the picture well, and also gives it life. I hope you continue drawing like this.
