WTF? I thought it was going to take longer than 2 days, well, the secret is in the FIRAHHH!!! it took aprox. 10 minutes, how?I know some dirty tricks
SO the WIP was obviously a waste of deviant space 
I really loved the lineart, a LOT. So I wanted to give it a try, while I'm practicing layers at the same time, the usual number of layers I use is this: 0.
And this also mark my retirement, as a anime colorist, for the moment.

This is my first painting of a scanned picture, suggestions are appreciated.
Done in Photoshop 7, took about 8 hours. Used 7 layers.
*This is kinda of a tradition of mine, but, get a name for her (she didn't have a name in the original either) think about a fiery personality.

I think the colors are really good...but the cripness of the lines are gone...and it feel like you took some of the life out by loosing some of them.

Awesome job with the fire!
Although, realistically, the light from the flames would eliminate any shadow. (Plus, there would be highlights where the shading would be) Just thought I'd throw in a little suggestion
