And once again Leanelle and Caleb - this time during one of the lessons. Leanelle has a good aim and Caleb is perfect person to teach her archery.Although later these lessons became... a bit strange. Leanelle fell in love with Caleb and Caleb slowly started to realize that she means something to him. And because he's quite specific person, he started to tease this poor girl.
But in the end, he'd do anything for her. And I really mean it - he'd achive everything just to help her or make her happy

The lineart is clean, creating a clear picture for the viewer to see. However the background detracts from the piece. Perhaps, a suggestion could be to run the background through a filter or two to make it a bit more βcartoonyβ to match the piece. Color choice is good. Colors are bold and used well.

I have never tried to do anything with background, to be honest ^^ But I'll try it next time maybe - I can see, that it makes piece look a bit strange.

Seriously, I struggle with backgrounds too. By the time I get around to the background of a piece I've been coloring for hours I'm just like... screw it, I'm slapping a gradient over the background and calling it good. But when I have a bit more left in me to work on something I will take a photo that I've taken and run it through a bunch of sketch filters on photoshop and then blur it and smooth it and sort of just have it be the background of my piece.
