Description
This is a weird crossover between Warhammer 40k (which belongs to Games Workshop!) and......(It is only for fun, ok? Don't kill me with RAGE plz! *hides behind a space ship*)...
...Sailor Moon. Yes, Sailor Moon.
These are Sister Uranus (Haruka is meant to be an Adepta Sororitas, of course) and Inquisitor Kajoh (with some additional Psyker powers, Michiru can use her mirror on top of a staff as a forceweapon....pfffft of course it is unbreakable
This is for my Michiru
Oh, and... wanna see a real miniature of a biker Sister of Battle?
Check out the awesome conversion by here: [link]

To some degree, yes - and to some, not. Yes in that this is a crossover of Sailor Moon and Warhammer 40k. No in that the Senshi are not powerful, almost godlike creatures (Anima or Primarch equivalents or similar); rather, Haruka and Michiru are not even Senshi in the typical sense of it in this example.

I see you found Serenity. ^^
Friend of mine (is writing her own Lovehammer ("grimdark edition"), and I'm doing concepts for her - the Senshi mainly, because she and her friend'll warhammerize them (point of contention in their last fanfic community). More to come soon.

Wouldn't say there was a point of contention, or anything like that. Shan and Mary had some ideas they wanted to act on that they thought were better suited for a different continuity, so they made a new thread for it. I've been greatly enjoying their work, myself. They're very good writers.
Also, I loved your Serenity picture. It looks fantastic! I always enjoy seeing Lovehammer art.

They indeed are. I usually crossread shan's before it's posted, and follow the thread myself. And their 40K writing contest contributions, too (which also are good).

Thanks! They're just collages really, though. I'm working on my drawing skills though, but I'm afraid without a pad that'll not do me good ... guess I'll need to find money for one.
So much to buy, so little money ...

O.o well, it is not much better, but it is at least more Slaanesh-conform
Well, onward to the actual discussion...
a) not all daemonettes have crab claws!
b) if not a male daemonette, what are you in the picture then? A greater daemon of some kind? Or - HERESY! - is it an attempt to depict the Darkling Prince her/him/itself?

That you are you, I would never dare to contradict. But then again, a warrior is a warrior, a king is a king, a fool is a fool, and a beggar is a beggar. And hence, the fact that you are you doesn't mean anything I will just continue to pray to the REAL Darkling Prince. But I am sure s/he does enjoy your attempts to spread confusion ^^

Jacab In reply to DarionDamage [2011-10-22 12:15:27 +0000 UTC]
And now, you got follow thoughts.. Do I spread confusion cuz I AM like him/her? Or like the god of changing and thousand secrets?
Or do I just try to confuse the weak an willingly heretic followers of the dark mights?

Sisters on bikes would be a nice unit when they get a new codex.

Thank you ^^ Basically, this special "Sister" needed a bike because the Sailor Moon char has one, and is actually a bike race driver. But I think Sisters would look great on bikes in general too!

While not my first choice for a 40k Crossover, can't argue with the good results. Always liked the concept of the Sister of Battle having access to bikes in 40k. Even tried to convert a couple models for it a little while back.

DarionDamage In reply to guardian457 [2011-10-12 05:47:42 +0000 UTC]
Thank you! Yes, I think they would look so badass on bikes... Actually I had to give Sister Uranus a bike because the character from Sailor Moon, Haruka/Sailor Uranus, is a biker/race driver. Or maybe it is just my own secret fetish for women in martial clothing on heavy machines >.>
How did the convertion work? Do you have pictures of the models?

guardian457 In reply to DarionDamage [2011-10-26 00:11:29 +0000 UTC]
I remembered the biker aspect when you uploaded this (admittedly haven't thought much about the episodes or plot of Sailor Moon in years).
The conversions are still incomplete and while I'll probably get to finishing them at some point, they're kind of a lower priority given their original intent. I'd been building a 40K force based off of the Sisters of Battle Codex's "By the Authority of the Emperor of Mankind"/Allies rules with the Imperial guard and wanted the planned units of rough riders to be bike mounted initiates into the Sisters of Battle rather than the usual horseback Imperial Guardsmen, but since the new Sister's Codex has done away with that rule & bikers are no longer permitted, the bikes, much like some tanks with Sisters pinup art painted on the side, now sit idle.

DarionDamage In reply to guardian457 [2011-10-26 17:47:57 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, that is really sad that the codex doesn't seem to allow the sisters to ride bikes... Why would that be so? But if you have a bunch of friends with whom to play tabletop that are creative and free-thinking enough to allow hybrid rules (HERESY!), you could maybe use the rules/point costs from the Space Marines bikers (I am thinking about the White Fangs f.e.)? But from what I heard the bikes are a bit too expensive point-wise, so...
(or you just don't listen to me, I am a noob anyway but I would LOVE to see your tanks with the Sisters pinup
)
