Just a random idea I came up with, from my Sonic X story, Chaos Angel.

I figure it's something like this:

- Sonic and friends got invited to a function, where they will be representing the Thorndykes (yes, they're taking a chance here, asking a group of animal-misfits to host their prestigious family, I know) alongside my OC Emma, Christopher Thorndyke, Ella, Chuck and Mr. Tanaka.

Knuckles: What's taking so long?

Cream: I'm sure she has a very good reason to be taking so much time getting ready...

Knuckles: It shouldn't take this long...

Sonic: Relax, Knuckles. It's not like you to be so impatient.

Amy: Aww, Knuckles is just worried that he won't get to give Emma his present...ri-ight, Knuckles? XD *Wink, wink, nudge, nudge* A present really tells a girl how much you care!

Knuckles: O.O

Amy: *Zips over to Sonic* Of course, this tiara Sonic gave me means that he thinks I’m a Princess!

Sonic: *Thinking* -I only got it because I didn’t want her to throw a tantrum...-

*Footsteps*

Tails: Hey, there she is!

Cream: Wow, she looks beautiful.

Cheese: Chow-chow!

Tails: She sure does... ^^

Knuckles is immobilized by love. He is currently unable to do or say anything...

Amy: Wow, that colour really suits you! *Thinking* -She ALMOST looks as good as me…-

Sonic: *Thinking* -That’s Emma…?-

The reason Sonic looks a little stunned there at the end is because he’s never seen Emma dress up or act girlie before. None of them really have but, for him, it’s a shock because he usually only sees her when she’s in battle or attempting to use her powers to beat him in a race – she’s come close, but there’s no way she’ll ever win. XD Sonic just didn’t expect her to scrub up so well.

I enjoyed drawing Knuckles, blushing like that. ^^ He’s so expressive…

Cream looks older, like a miniature-version of her Mum, Vanilla…hmm…

Any showed up in three panels. XD We love Amy Rose. <3

Tails is easy to draw…except for his eyes. Sorry, Tails.

Hair: It’s short. She can’t handle long hair.

Home: Australia, on an alternate earth – she ended up in another world quite by accident, passing through the world where Sonic and his friends were from, where she (unintentionally) absorbed the power of something SOMEONE was SUPPOSED to be guarding…but wasn’t.

Family: She lived at home with her parents. They sometimes got along and sometimes didn’t, and the arguments could get very loud and sometimes physical. She cares about them a lot, though, and doesn’t want to see them get hurt. She feels like they fail to understand her, and that they keep bringing her down. She also has an older sister, and a dog.

Personality: She finds it very hard to warm up to people, afraid of what they might think and that they wouldn’t want to get to know her anyway. She’s shy around strangers, doesn’t like to shoulder people with her burdens, and keeps most things to herself to avoid getting hurt. She also has an extremely lazy streak where she doesn’t want to do housework or cook, and she doesn’t like to get out of bed in the mornings. Part of the reason she doesn’t have a job yet is because she’s so unwilling to actually get out there and look (and, also because she’s been rejected so many times). She doesn’t like to do as she’s told, and has a stubborn and sometimes argumentative nature. She doesn’t like to let people see her cry, and often curbs her emotions and words to better hide her true nature.
Her self-esteem constantly borderlines on rock-bottom, and she is often having to fight off depression and self-doubt.
Emma is very protective of those around her, and hates to see others suffering. She can’t stand killing or senseless violence but, at the same time, doesn’t mind some action to remind her that she’s no longer living a mundane life and has a job to do. She’s very creative and, when she feels comfortable enough, a good listener and friend. She’s very sweet, and enjoys helping others. She’s also highly competitive, something most people don’t expect from her, as well as being someone who’s able to think outside the square. Though she’s afraid of both failure and achievement, and often scared to take a risk, the present company she keeps is helping her to take a chance.
Though secretive, she can occasionally be very straightforward with her feelings, and knows enough to help others understand how THEY’RE feeling – usually in matters of love (which she reads about but has never experienced romantically before) and friendship.

Special Powers: Something important gave Emma super powers, but for what reason is currently unknown (well, I know, but anyways…). She can run fast, is a lot stronger than she was before, and is able to activate the Power Rings and use them to power up.
Unfortunately, she gets tired very easily, and isn’t too keen to step up for battle, anyways…

Relationships:

Amy Rose – Emma and Amy get along almost like sisters, swapping advice on the area the others is not so good at. For Amy, this is acting calmer and not panicking in the face of a crisis, something she’s not so good at. For Emma, it’s almost the opposite. Emma has stated that she both admires and envies Amy’s forwardness and tenacity when it comes to proclaiming her love for the man she loves, and Amy’s only too happy to give the quieter girl some pointers. Amy, however, gets annoyed when Emma and Sonic ditch her because the shopping takes more than an hour, and secretly wishes she could run off with Sonic like that. She doesn’t feel that there’s any threat there, however, because she’s confident in her own feelings and destiny…

Cream – Cream looks up to both Amy and Emma, however she sees Amy as more of a big sister and Emma as more of a Mother figure (along with Ella). Emma has endless patience when it comes to small children, and is very protective of the young, well-mannered girl. When Cream gets scared, she often goes to Emma and, when Cream can’t sleep at night, Emma is there with a story or a lullaby. Knowing how perceptive Cream is, Emma often has to work hard to be more cheerful and less nervous when she’s around the rabbit.

Sonic The Hedgehog – Ever since Emma was young, she’s admired the blue hedgehog’s character from the older SEGA games, and secretly considers him her hero. Unfortunately, she recognizes a Jupiter-sized-ego when she sees one, and would rather NOT let him know how much she admires him. She’s often getting annoyed at him for being so reckless, and only gives him praise when she feels he’s earned it. Her frustration at his attitude, however, hides her true feelings – Sonic is the one who pulls her out of her shell, who encourages her, and gets her to take a risk or two to keep things interesting. Because of his nature, he’s often the one to pull her out of her depressed state and, though he’ll never openly admit it, he admires her for being able to (almost) keep up with him when they’re running. Like him, she hates being confined, and he’s only too happy to go with her when she just wants to get out and break free. She finds him easier to talk to than most anybody else. Over time, he comes to admire her more when she wins her fair share of battles, although he takes the opportunity to sarcastically remark that now SHE’S being too reckless. They often make jibes at each others faults, and their competitiveness makes for an interesting friendship…

Knuckles The Echidna – Knuckles, though he acts completely out of his normal character at times when Emma’s around (much to Amy’s amusement and Sonic’s bewilderment), for all his straight-forwardness seems unable to actually say how or what he really feels about Emma. However, it was clear, from the first time he saw her, that he was going to be showing up a lot more from then on in, especially when he found out that Emma was going to be involved in their war because of who and what she had become. Their friends passed it off as just because of the ties Knuckles has with Emma’s newfound power, but it began to become apparent that his protectiveness was far beyond even that. Knuckles is EXTREMELY protective of Emma, and not only when she’s in danger – he becomes seemingly jealous when she’s around other guys, and is just as annoyed as Amy is when Emma and Sonic run off together, possibly even more so. Emma in turn is quite shy around him, although sometimes picks up on his confidence and opinionated-personality to the point where she comes out of her shell again. She’s quite protective of him, showing more concern for him than anyone else where injuries are concerned and, while she’d never admit it, she thinks he’s quite cute. ^////^ She also doesn’t consider herself good enough for him, though…

Shadow The Hedgehog – Emma met Shadow when she was out with Knuckles one night; after being confronted by the dark hedgehog she called him by his name, and the two simply stared at each other until Knuckles intervened. Emma’s relationship with Shadow explores the possibilities of re-embodiment, and Shadow is determined to get to the point of this fact. They are shown to be immediately protective of each other, and she only wants to help him, but their relationship has yet to be further explored…

Silver The Hedgehog – Silver came from a post-apocalyptic future to warn Sonic and his friends of a grave danger, but by then it seemed to be too late. Only by rescuing Emma from Dr. Eggman could the future be saved, and only Silver knew what needed to be done. He was created for the soul purpose of saving the Emma from the future, and hoped to meet her before she became the Sovereign Of Chaos. He said that if he could save her, and see her true smile, then he could happily go back to the future. However, upon changing the course of events, Silver’s timeline ceased to exist, and he was going to be staying with them from that point onwards. This event made Emma happy, as she hadn’t gotten to know him very well yet, and she smiled, sparking an instant friendship between them and making Silver wonder what his destiny was now…
