Here’s one of my favourites sprites.
Those who’ve played MegamanZero2 may remember that the remaining of the Big4 (that is Leviathan, Fefnir and Harpuia) were able to morph into a powerful armoured combat form (making us wonder why they didn’t use it in the previous game). Since Phantom was quite dead by the time, he never got the chance to do the same.
However, there is an obscure concept art showing what his hyper mode was supposed to look like.
So here’s my “ personal” interpretation. The sheet is unfinished, because I was supposed to give him more moves… though I’ve totally forgotten which ones.
Sprite-wise: full scratch with the exception of the first row (dur), nothing much to say…

in fact, this project started before i knew you made one. but still, from the very start it was supposed to be a full sprite sheet, including attack poses

What were the other moves you were going to give him? I ask because I had the impression that he would be a stealth bomber.

Well, I never thought further than the moves you can see.
He would be mostly warping from place to place, using his kunai-shaped cloak as a projectile weapon and as a melee weapon.

I'd suggest bombs. Harpuia had missiles like a jet, Fefnir had tank shells, and Leviathan had submarine-style torpedos. Phantom is the stealthy type, so bombing runs would work best.
But that's just me.

It might be that they didn't have their super forms until number two (It does take place a year later).
