Third final piece, but this was done in one whole day only, so it was a full day of painting, phew! We were told to pick up a photograph from a pile & I got this woman. No idea who she is though.

I don't like this result very much, but it's okay I guess. It's based on an artist called Paul Wright, who came into our school to judge our work, point out where we could improve, what was good etc...He was nice guy.

This took me about five hours to complete. I messed up a lot of the time by trying to copy his style, but that's covered up. He does portraits but puts in colours such as blues, yellows, oranges, greens, reds, purples etc, so I tried but completely failed!

The bright colours stood out too much but in his painting they blend it better, so I just went with just natural colours which he does too anyway.
