I personally think both are bad examples of this trope. Haida from Aggretsuko feels like both of these characters done 20 times better.

I don't like Blossom ship to Jared because i ship her to Dexter since 2011 and i kinda hate that dude because he's too nerdy too as well (Also i'm not anti-simetic because of his Jude ancestry).

Flash? Screw him (though that doesn't mean I dislike him. In fact, I like him and his character), I can tell why Victor Vincent from Ninja Steel is a much superior character than Jared Shapiro.
More personality is the main reason.

Even though Im not fan of Flash either but to his credit, at least he doesn't harm Twilight's character and has more character than Jared's. Yeah not much but still better than nothing just being a token interests.

Oh for gods sake, did they really create an unneeded love interest in the PPG reboot? Can this show do anything right?

Reading this is just reminding me of a PPG comic strip I read in a newspaper as a kid of Buttercup beating up a kid for saying he had a crush on her, it’s like everything the old show did with a sense of irony the new one takes seriously
it is a real bad sign when flash looks like a better written charather than somebody

Yeah, I'd rather take Flash Sentry over Jared Shapiro. At least between Flash and Twilight there's nothing sexual.

Yeah, Jared's one of those characters where you hear about him and you just can't believe he's an actual character.  It just screams fan character, yet somehow it's canon.  That's just disturbing.
