In which Shub-Niggurath is being the most chillaxed step-mom evar!!!
But honestly, out of all her kids/step-kids, Wilbur's the only one with a nose, so he should've seen it coming. 
(Here I use the idea that Shub-Niggurath and Yog-Sothoth are mates. Then again, people have paired Shubby with Hastur, with Yig, and even with Azathoth, I think. She seems to be very popular with the guys. You go, girl!)

It seems I'm not the only one who thinks that Shub is such a... courtesan lol. My headcanon for LL is that she used to be Yog's consort when they were still "almighty and powerfull gods", but I paired her even with Nyarlathotep, or at least... she pairs HERSELF with him XD! But if you ask for Nyarly's version of facts, he would deny everything or saying he was too drunk to remember a thing about that night lol. ...Once there was a night, beneath a moooooonless sky...

According to my headcanon, Shubby is very popular with the gentlemen - and how could she not, she's gorgeous (in a very eldritch kind of way)! However, the closest thing to a husband she's ever had was Yog, with whom she begot her godliest children - Hastur and the twins Nub and Yeb. All the others are her consorts, rather than the other way around - partly because she is way more powerful than them (being the personification of nature's cycles and fertility).
Hastur is one of her consorts too, but in name only; he basically fills Yog's position since Yog is away and Hastur is their most powerful child.
