Description This was actually the first real shot of the shoot. The shutter went off really by accident while my model was having a smoke and I was testing out lights and hooking the cam up to them. I feel that though perhaps the most spontaneous of the shoot, and accidental, it shows in perfect likeness the soul of my model and friend. A good way to open up a really good series, more to come from a very successful shoot in the future

I am in love with your work!!
And have faved a few pieces.. but this one model you have here, she's just captivates me.. maybe it's part of my love for people with Mohawks, the punker look, missing my old hawk. that and she's just beautiful to me, and in this photo reminds me and looks allot like a girl I know in Atlanta.. almost could be twins by the look of the pic it's eerie heh.

Anyway Kudo's and great work I definetly will be looking forward to seeing more stuff.

this, this is just great. i love the way everything just looks so natural.. though i guess that make sence since as you said, it was accidental. sort of like you can tell who she is. (argh, im being judgementaly >__< though id have to agree, i think it might feel "closer" if you could see her eyes more... eaither way, this is an amaizing shot.
btw, you have an amazing gallery. lovely model too... >_>;

you've a great gallery man.. and your works are awesome..but I love this shot in particular 'cause I think that it captures a sort of 80's aptitude and I love the 80's atmosphere..is a great photo although the eyes are darker and is hard to see the gaze..but anyway I love this shot..

Thank you very much by the way. I actually think what your picking up is the same thing I personally got from the photo. Its very gritty and 'rock', the 80's was a famous time for this sort of photography and this sort of edge. It was very unintended but something I liked about it, glad you do too.

This is amazing, especially considering it's an 'accident'. A lot of photos taken on PURPOSE don't even look this good. Your model looks wonderful, and the kooky expression on her face is just great.

Not a problem at all, I myself have taken a couple days to reply and still haven't been able to take an indepth look at your gallary like I meant to do.

Yeah, I felt this shot had a certain gritty realism to it that black and white lent well to and I'm glad you like it. And yeah, shes the same girl that has featured in some Suzi9mm pieces, and a very good friend of mine.

That is exactly why I had to do something with this pic. I don't think you can ever ask someone to pose in such a way, you have to catch it. The expression on her face is too priceless to be something that you ask for.

Yeah, shes a very natural strange kind of pretty that I think works extreamly well with the camera. I was very happy to get her into the studio. Simple and gritty was the intended effect when posting the mistake up, and I'm happy your into it.

i like teh pose and composition and all, but the eyes are all black...it doesn't quite let me 'feel' the model when i can't see her eyes, or even a bit of the other one.

I love this one too I gotta tell ya. It's an awesome shot of Azzy, she's a great girl and you deffinitely captured something here even if it was sort of accidentally done. Really nice work. Nice quality and contrast. Great composition in my opinion. Your last two photos I think are two of my favorites out of any of your photography. You're deffinitely hitting your own zone in it finally I think.

Again I wish desperately this was a print. It'd be bought I tell ya.
