[Light Rhapsody - Rhapsody meaning a miscellaneous collection.]

Inspired by Sci-fi Scenery and Cosmic Landscapes. This is my attempt at manipulating textures/effects to produce a believable Space Setting.

I began with a rough sketch of how i wanted to layout the planets, stars and overall composition of this scenery.
Using a tutorial by Chris Spooner of "Pixel2Life" i used textures of moss and rust to create the planet's surfaces. Other effects were achieved using De-saturations, Levels, (Layer Styles) Outer/Inner Glows, Gaussian Blurs.

As for the nebula, i applied brush strokes to images of clouds (cirrostratus or cirrus) and used color overlays.

In all, i feel i am pleased with the result but this is a first attempt, so more than achieving perfection, i wanted to test out the different tools of adobe photoshop.
