After reaching their secluded destination, Cloud and Tifa then dismounted the chocobo, before laying down a blanket and a full picnic lunch on the grass, overlooking a beautiful mountainside with a full view of the ever-looming sunset ahead of them.

Enjoying their meal alongside an evening of stories and laughter, the two snuggled together as they watched the sun set, burying itself behind the mountains in the distance, the hue of the sky getting darker and darker with each passing second, until it reached pitch black.

Anticipating the darkness, Cloud pulled out a small candle, striking a match against his rugged jeans to light it and bringing the wick to life before blowing out the match and casting it away.

Setting the light between them, he ran his fingers through his beloved's hair, musing to her, "I'm not..... much for words. But.... even beneath all these stars... you're still the brightest light I see...."

"Oh, Cloud...." cooed Tifa as she returned his gaze, putting both hands into his blonde spikes as she brought her face closer and closer to his.  Not being able to hold back her feelings anymore, she pressed her lips against his, dashing her tongue into his mouth as she released all of the passion she had been building up for this night of theirs.

For several minutes, this continued, until Cloud broke their loving union for just the briefest of moments, stroking her face with his left hand whilst uttering the words that meant the most to her in the entire world.

"I love you, Tifa Strife..."

Tifa closed her eyes and focused on the attention he was giving her. Even though it was slight, she could still make out the cold metal of the ring she had put on his finger not long ago, the symbol of their ever-lasting love and affection for each other. She took his hand in hers and pressed it against her face. Part of her still couldn't believe it. The man she had longed for her entire life was now her husband, and he was just as loving and sweet as she had always imagined.

But there was more to being married than just being loving and sweet. She knew good and well what Cloud had intended to do in setting up this entire date. And she'd be lying to herself if she wasn't falling for it hook, line, and sinker.

"Oh yeah?" she responded, opening her eyes and giving him a mischievous look. "Prove it."

Cloud responded with a naughty smirk of his own. "As you wish, my love," he said as he brought their lips together again, laying her down on to the blanket as he proceeded to act out his well thought-out plans to the letter.

Among all the shedding of clothing and loud, sensuous cries that proceeded, the chocobo could only stare on in bewilderment as he beheld what could only be described to his bird-brained mind as "the human act of mating."

'Huh,' the large bird pondered as he cocked his head curiously to the side.  'They don't even need to eat a nut first.'
