Finally the last smoll drawing I share for this year ;v; I don't take him out from the lovely RP group he belongs to but I love him so much so I decided to took him in as this is his alternative universe. I definitely still keep the relationship of him with other characters in the group, coz they're too precious
Arsen
Hybrid: Caracal - Clouded Leopard | 179 cm | 19 year-old
[A]bility :
Arsen is capable to turn his outside shadow into inanimate object once he know the composition of the object itself. Just like spilled water, his outside shadow will get lessen as he create the objects, and he definitely won't be able to create any object if he's out of his outer shadow.
He's a hybrid creature who was born with the natural ability of caracal and clouded leopard. Caracal is a great jumper and runner, while Clouded Leopard is a great climber, that can move swiftly from tree branches to another. Just like both big cats, he has a really good vision in the dark as well.
[P]ersonality :
Not quite different from his usual grumpy face, this wild looking guys is clearly a short tempered one, especially during the day. Born as a nocturnal creature, Arsen usually turn into a sleepy head at day and his anger could get triggered easily by that time, like a mad man who couldn't think clearly due to lack of sleep. Arsen tends to talk with harsh words, in the point where he didn't notice it might hurt others' feelings. An honest and decisive person, He will speak out his mind boldly, from hate you till like you, anything about you, he will speak it out right in front of your face if it's necessary without a single shame.
Behind all the harsh exterior emotion, lies a guy who actually likes to taking care of others but sadly his ego is too big to admit that. He won't do any harm to you out of nowhere, not even bring out his swords for unarmed ones. Surprisingly he could become really panic when you cry or get injured and try to help you out, even if he scolding you in process. Arsen just not used to talk nicely.
[Q]uick Background Story :
Hybrids who born after couple of human asked for a magic power, notorious ability, and wild instinct from the wizard to withstand the dragon's attack long long time ago. The wizard mixed their experiment with big wild cats or dogs, gave the human a natural ability like the animal, the animal's feature and a small magic power from the wizard themselves. The experiment was a complete success compared to the experiment with the dragon's DNA, even though most of the wizards were died soon after the experiment. Year after year this kind of hybrids become quite common among human and wizard.
Arsen live with his grandmother and his older cousin, Liam, ever since he was a little kid. All he remember that his parents were asked Liam to took him away while both of his parents fight against the dragons that attack their village.
Liam was always be his role-model. A dream to become one of the king's guard was came into his mind when he admire how brave Liam as the strongest commander that serve the king. His dream did came true when he was 19 year-old, one of the youngest guard by that time.
The day when Liam got executed for accused as the thief who stole king's treasure was broke his heart. Especially after he remember that he saw a crow came out from Liam's room couple of minute before the other guard found the treasure inside of Liam's room.
Arsen was tried his best to stop the execution. He fought against the other guards but his power himself wasn't enough to beat them, even all his talk without the proper proof didn't managed to let the execution stop.
Marked as the guard who fought against the king's decision, Arsen got expelled, broke his dream as the king's guard apart.
[Q]uick Current Story :
After got expelled from the guard line, Arsen live with his grandmother. He helps her bakery business, from the kitchen work to delivering the breads to their neighbour.
He still suspected the crow that he saw came out from Liam's room. He believe it might lead him to found the real thief who should be the one who responsible for stole the king's treasure. Arsen still try to figure out the thief's identity. Couple of neighbours who told him their jewelries were stolen by crows is one of the clue to lead him to the thief.
Arsen has a really close relationship with Ethelind after he and Ethelind being the only guards that managed to survived the mission to get the herbs that could cure the disease in their town. He used to visit Ethelind whenever she's off duty and sometimes bring foods to her. Arsen look up to her as a his big sister. He also offered some help to find more information about Darkchain, hoping that it could take away her worry.
[E] X T R A S
He usually bring a book that contain some notes of the composition to create complicated objects, it helps him to memory those objects.
- You can say he's a melee unit, he used to fight with swords, axes or any weapon that could support a short-ranged combat.
- Just like cats, his claws can come in and out by his own will.
- He got two cuts on his right ear after the fight with other guards when he tried to stop Liam's execution.
- He was born as a nocturnal creature but Arsen always try to change that natural habit to fit in with others, sadly he rarely could sleep at night and so he got that 'panda-eye-bag' thingy most of the times.
