Share more old art in cropped version, ajslkajs-- I'm really sorry for being super slow replying things. I'm trying to catch up some deadlines here
Here's one of the recent drawings regarding Darkchain's alternative universe, it's not that fresh but I hope it could help my gallery from death 8')

Darkchain / Harvey
Hybrid: Dragon | 170 cm | ?? year-old
[A]bility :
- 'Assembling' Wings on his back : His wings are basically created by his strength. Assembling bones, bloods and flesh to create it, therefore his wings didn't have an exact shape.
- Blue Flame of Amberhimm Dragon : The combust-type, one of the strongest flame that can’t easily be quenched. People believe that Amberhimm dragon was already extinct.
- Armoured scale of Knocleton Dragon : Darkchain's dragon form has scales as strong as steel. Knocleton's feature is easily recognised by some skeleton on their body, which is why his dragon form has some skeleton on his body.
- “Chainbliss” : The black chains with rusty-blue in feature. An ability he got after being casted by his mother. The chains that always appear every time he drowned into anger or turn into dragon. The chains help him to turned back into exactly the same condition before the wrath take control over him, his human form. He soon realised that he could also control the chains if he didn’t go insane and it’s his main weapon when fight against the other dragon as it could calm them down in some points.
[P]ersonality :
A laid back person who act like mirror most of the times. Dark is a sharp observer who could easily read the atmosphere around him, putting himself on the safe-track, wether he should act serious or bring out his sense of humour to the surface. Dark indeed loves to joke around, even his sarcasm is mostly covered in joke. Being forgotten, losing his partners and facing other harsh circumstance when live side by side with the dragons, it sure let this guy grew into a half-dragon who brave himself to stand alone or keep trying to bear all his loneliness by himself. At the same time, Dark will cherish those he considered as friends in his deepest heart. It might turned him into an irrational being sometimes, but in the long run he's a faithful and wise companion, you won't find it only by all the jokes he spit out.
[Q]uick Background Story :
- His father, Hayden used to be a guinea-pig for an experiment to make a half-dragon army. The old wizard thought the experiment was failed as it didn't give any change to Hayden. The wizard soon died after committed several forbidden spells in the process, offered freedom for Hayden. Little thing they know, the experiment would affect Hayden's child in the future instead.
- After his father died as an archer on the frontline. Harvey live with his mother, Frae: a generous wizard who devoted herself as a herbalist. Frae was born with a weak and sickly body, which made her barely use her magic. Harvey used to help her gathering some herbs in the forest.
- The day when a dragon followed them up from the forest and burned some houses, was the day when the villagers started to hate them. Blaming all their loss to them, humiliated his mother and switched on a massive wrath inside Harvey. In anger, Harvey suddenly turned into a bizarre looking dragon, a dragon that never be seen by the villagers before, causing chaos in their village. Terrified by the creature he become, Harvey ran away to the forest, with his mother tried to catch him up.
- Frae casted a forbidden spell to Harvey: Chainbliss, granting him his human form back. Unfortunately her weak body, couldn't stand a chance to live any longer after committed the spell and she died afterwards, leaving Harvey to keep going by himslef.
[Q]uick Current Story :
- Being casted by the Chainbliss spell, Harvey indeed managed to turned back into his human form whenever he want, but the spell itself bring a curse for him. It caused his existence 'disappear', his human form itself have a very faint presence among creatures other than dragon which constantly makes him being forgotten by them. Apparently his dragon form has a stronger presence and people started to call him Darkchain, for being a dark looking dragon with chains around him. With bizarre looking and the lack sightings of him, most people consider Darkchain as a mythology creature.
- Now he used to be called as Darkchain or Dark for short. Noticed the curse inside of him, Dark prefers to live among the dragons. He learnt a lot of stuff to survive in the dragon's world with the help of Gene, an old and small Knockleton dragon who sniffed his son presence inside of Dark. Gene treated him as his own son, even wanted Dark to keep his head when he’s dead and Dark did it after Gene was burn to death in order to protect him from other mad-dragon.
- He currently joined a pack of dragons that used to protect some other defenceless dragons from human, wizard or even other greedy-dragons that trying to snatch their territory to claim over the Dragon-gods by themselves. A pack of dragon that try to balancing their dragon's world, lead by a bold dragon called Gauthierr.
[E]xtra :
- In this universe, the tattoo underneath the eyes is a mark of the cursed creature or a mark of the black-wizard: a wizard that committed a forbidden spell and managed to live through with it.
- Dark keep some of skeleton, claws or the fur from the friends he lost. He keep it as a memento around his outfits, so he could always remember all the good deeds they did for him. His shoulder guard was Gene's skeleton.
- Apparently the Chainbliss curse didn't affect a strong black-wizard and so far, Dark only managed to found one black-wizad who could remember him.
- Dark's dragon form has long nails and blue flame wrap around it's neck, in human form the flame turned into a scarf around his neck.
- Dark always try to cut off the nails on his hands but it grew back long in a day. In human form, his nails are not as sharp as it seems.
- In human form, Dark have a perfect control for the fire on his neck, but not in his dragon form, it burns everything
