Sharing a smoll process when making of brick stone thingy
I'm using Photoshop CS5 ^^
Always start with a really rough sketch
Refining the sketch layer. For the shadow from the leaves: I made a new layer and use the leave brush I shared here . I like to make the shadow look a bit blurry, like giving off the visual of the leaves moving up there, so I use Gaussian blur (You can access Gaussian Blur from: Filter >>> Blur >>> Gaussian Blur)
I merged all the layer. I selected couple of bricks using Polygonal lasso tool and use Color Balance to changed it into a reddish hue (You can go to Color Balance by click : Image >>> Adjustments >>> Color Balance)
Add more details to the brick and leave it that way
I haven't got much time to make decent background tutorials so I'll share couple of smoll process of the art that I'm going to put into an Artbook, I talked about it before through this journal
