While Yang has always been my favorite character in the show, Pyrrha's a strong Goddamn second and Arkos is OTP. I was in a depressive rut this past month after a Black Sun author paid tribute to her and put the ship to bed for himself. Personally, my recovery has been a long-time coming; first by watching Vol 4's episodes instead of the season recap, then hit the forums to see more than 2/3s of the fanbase—and growing—is still calling bullshit on Pyrrha's death, but not shying away from expressing their grief and gaining support.
I've come to something of a peace for myself regarding Pyrrha and gotten a little out of my own head. Until the end of RWBY, nothing is set in stone; stone breaks even if it were. As much as the guys at RT are pushing it, I have faith that Pyrrha will return, completely, as well as Arkos. Until then I'll leave some old wisdom: Never hesitate to tell someone you care about them, and never take their friendship for granted. Give thanks. Share sorrows. Weep freely. Love unconditionally. Dum spiro spero.
