English was my first and i learned it via telavision when i was young, and my pearents didn't speak english at all, soo defenatly using!

Yeah, to be honest, i didn't even beleve it myself when i first new about that, i got soo good at english, that my parents talked to me in french, and i responded in english. They new they had to learn english to keep up with my, and when my littel sister came, after i learned she was my sister when i thought it was just a visitor, we inventied a languge witch was part english, part french and part bibble-babble, they needid to teach us normal speach farrly quickly or they where pretty much scruwed. Soo yeah, that happend and look at me now! Being bilangual has it's beafts: like you can help conversations with people that speak diffrent languge or make and understand jokes that would only make sense if you know both languges or at least some of the words. And i'l be honest, since this isn't something you see everyday, i was never expecting to find a badge like this. And i'm sorry that i kinda went on talking about my life story, i hope all this interests you.

I really love the idea of being self-taught with language~ As long as a person doesn't think they can learn a language entirely from one source without any formal ways of learning (e.g., weeaboos who think they can learn Japanese from anime), than I fully support this <3 I've done it too; for example, I wanted to learn Russian and Quechua but my school doesn't offer these languages.

I definitely am not self taught. Heck I don't even really know much of any language other than English. This was made as more of a request by someone else. I've been trying to pick up a few other languages, but I know someone at my job who speaks Spanish so he's been off and on teaching me.

My teachers promised me to teach me english but they forget about it everytime and were so lousy so I learned it myself by watching TV with subtitles and online communicating. Most of people usually learn english at school though...
