NAME: Eclair

RACE: Vortian

AGE: 23 (Vort years)

GENDER: Male

HEIGHT: 5'8"

BIRTHDAY: May 16th

PERSONALITY: Intelligent, inventive, a little sporadically crazy, unpredictable, short temper, some anxiety, snarky, spontaneous, has a dark sense of humor, usually is mellow unless bothered, He has Necrophobia (the fear of Dead Bodies) and will freak out, vomit, have near to a panic attack, or break down if he is around a dead body for too long or too many of them. (about 2 is his limit) He is very jumpy, a good listener, and can be caring and compassionate for even Irkens if the timing is right.

TALENTS/ABILITIES: He can build most things with ease and is good with fixing things.

HISTORY: (Story starts long before Irkens took control of Vort) Born like any other Vortian, his only friend as a kid was Tris. they grew up together but in school, Eclair was a victim of bullying. Eclair was bullied because of his irrational paranoia and easily startled personality. Tris though, being the tough girl she was, always stood up for Eclair when she could. Eclair's horns, in fact, were not always bent in the shape you see now. they used to be like normal Vortian horns until one day at school, Tris wasn't around and some bullies took it too far, holding him down while they broke/bent his horns out of shape. his horns grew to the way they are now when he became a teenager. Tris and Eclair were like Bother and Sister; they always looked out of each other, until they graduated school and went into engineering. That's when they started fighting all the time, neither of them were really sure what caused all the fighting to start. They worked building Machinery on Vort for other Planets and species, mainly the Irken race. Eclair's eye sight was severely damaged when a weapon exploded (his fault) early on in his career, leaving his vision impaired and nerves damaged (see Weaknesses for more) as well as causing Tris to lose her arm and burn the side of her face/horn. Eclair ended up sabotaging some Irken weaponry so that they would explode once they were used. after some weapons had already exploded on irk, injuring and possibly killing some irken military, they tracked him down and arrested him. for a few weeks he sat in a prison cell on irk practically waiting to be executed, until an outbreak from the irken Domestication center took place and the Chien population on irk turned against the irkens and doing such rebellious things as setting free all the prisoners. one of them Being Eclair, the rebellion lasted for an hour or two until the Irkens gained control again. though by then Eclair was already set free and on his way back to planet Vort (this all took place before Vort was Conquered). because of this, it is now the reason that Irkens reproduce chien's the same way Smeets are created for Irken use only. though they mixed the Chien DNA with that of an irken, but only at max 10%, to ensure that they don't turn again by giving each one their own PAK controlled by the control brains (these hybrids were called Irk-Chiens, as apposed to normal Pure Chiens). any who, after that Eclair lived in an ally way on Vort and used his technician skills to earn a little money from very rare spare jobs. some jobs he doesn't get to complete because his short temper and anxiety interferes with his social skills. soon though Eclair wondered into a Domestication Center (equivalent to a Pound) and found a Chien named Lobo. he remembered on Irk where some Pure Chiens had set him free and felt he should do the same as sort of a way of pay back, but since Eclair didn't have money (or a job for that matter) he Stole Lobo. giving him a Home Made Speech collar for communication. Lobo now helps Eclair with miscellaneous jobs and in return for rescuing him, he offered Eclair Protection. Lobo also taught Eclair how to Survive in the wilderness, though that still doesn't make up for his terrible vision.
one day though, something terrible started to happen and Irkens started to invade Vort. Eclair panicked and took Lobo with him to steal a ship and get off the planet. but because he was such a terrible pilot, a few weeks later he crashed into Planet Chi, Home of the Chiens. Lucky for Eclair he wasn't taken as a threat. The Chien resistance had grown dramatically since the Irken Invasion all those years ago. one of the resistance General's being Aber, armed with only a Saber Tooth sword he befriended Eclair, though it took some time with Aber's appearance. (Aber's Bio coming soon) The resistance seemed ready for rebellion in it's large size in numbers, so they planned to attack a Capture Station (a place where Irkens rest, after a long day of capturing wild Chiens to ship them to domestication centers. wild chiens are also held there until shipment.) Aber was to lead group 1 in to shut off the Station's defenses. Eclair and Lobo, being in group 1, were a bit nervous about rebelling against the irkens but were not at all against it. while leading the group in they were spotted by an Irken guard. with the irkens being heavily armed, and the resistance almost defenseless, it was almost a quick struggle. Lobo was the first one, trying to protect Eclair from an attacking Guard Irk-Chien, he was killed in the fight. Aber was busy trying to fight off the Irken Guards as more and more came. Eclair, seeing his long-time best friend die right in front of him, snapped, and started fighting hard against the guards. all was hopeless in the end; one of the Guards ended up shooting Eclair through his abdomen, killing him instantly. Aber had almost escaped; but was also killed while trying to fight off the guards while the remaining Chiens of Group 1 escaped, and the Resistance goes silent, but yet continues to grow.

STRENGTHS: Building, repairing, quick thinking, designing, agile, sarcastic, fast, survival skills, not very opinionated (if he is around Irkens, he doesn't bring up the fact he thinks they're scum; he always holds his opinions to himself unless he gets really angry no matter the race).

WEAKNESS: Doesn't like to fight and would rather run or get a machine to fight for him, He has Horrible Peripheral Vision, horrible Depth Perception and nerve damage in his face and upper body from early in his career when a weapon exploded in his face, making him extremely jumpy. Dead bodies freak him out and if he gets too scared by them he'll basically become useless.
