Very surreal, very awesome. I love how my eyes follow the fence into the picture straight to the cow. No time wasted searching for what I really want to see, the cow. haha. No but seriously... this is one I really like. All the other ones I just say " I LOVE IT" just to sound cool. haha... no. Goooooddamnit this is awesome. Most pleasently surreal thing I've seen in a long while. Daaamn this rules. If I had any money at all that I wouldn't spend on travelling to see my gf, I'd so buy a print of that. And the cow's facial expression just perfectly mirrors mine.

seriously it is an awesome shot! not the cow so much (I am not all about cows or anything), but the alien feeling of the landscape. Your work is gorgeous. I showed that image to my boyfriend, Zaleone (who is a photographer in his own right), and he fell in love with it as well.

just slap an IR filter on the end of ur camera- flip it into nightshot mode and start shooting away.

do you have a 72mm camera? thats pretty friggin large.
Im not exactly sure thats the right filter either. But guess what? I dont know what im talking about anyways.
What i WILL tell you, though, is that me,x-horizon, and nuozek all use an Hoya R72 filter.
So you can base it off of that.

the dia of my lens front is 72mm, the lens is a canon 28-200mm. I am going to have to experiment with some infra films, but once i have saved up for my digital Canon EOS 10D, i wont have to worry about that too much. I always like to try something different.

ok youre the master of this stuff as is proven here but my question is as follows,
doesnt ir photography inherently mean long exposures or rather longer exposures? and if so how long did that cow stay still for you ? and how did you bribe said cow?

IR does not mean long exposures. They can be taken at any range of shutter speeds - 1/1000 to minutes to hours - depending on the abilities of your camera.
this one had a shutter speed of 1/60 i believe. So that means 1/60th of a second. Not too slow 
Thus the cow didnt have to stand still all that long - tho it did anyways. it was getting ready to charge at me.
