I absolutely your depiction of the Tree of Life!
Lovely capture- good focus, GREAT subject (ok, I
trees, I admit it). I think the B&W really sets it off.

did you use an IR filter or technique.. because it looks like it.. but the photo is really missing something.. for one, the quality could be a lot better.. but, the angle is rather generic.. at least, not enough of get good lighting off the tree

The hard contrast of white and black is awesome, maybe too awesome. Cheater. I would love to see someone reading under that tree or sleeping. That would make give more of a focus. yes yes.. I will ... BE patient! + fav

There is something very mysterious/magestic/creepy about this picture. I love it. Reminds of something that you'd hear described in a fairy tale or something. Very nice!

Black and white or muted colors? I thought it was black and white at first, but then I looked at the tree bark and wasn't quite as sure. Either that, or I'm going batty. Either case, great picture - I love the detail on the bark and the rocks, I love how the little other trees? vines? whatever they are, they're lighter and more delicate to add contrast to the tree; I love how the branches take up the larger part of the upper part of the photo; I even like how the foliage that's closer to the camera is slightly blurry, to help give the true effect of distance. Great work!

im pretty sure its black and white - but i dont know for a fact. Stuff it in photoshop and bump up the saturation. If its a greenish blue color - then its color.
Tho i cant see color
Those are trees in the background - really thin - but theyre trees.
Im glad you noticed the placement of the camera and the limbs up at the top. I personally loved how all the limbs trickled out from the central tree.
Im amazed so many people liked this piece as much as I did. Very few people agree with me on what they like and dont like
And on reflection - I think i left color in the photo. The bark was a blueish green.....maybe...........
*shrug*

Hehe, it's all good either way - I just noticed that you do a lot of muted colors, which is why I asked.
People have all sorts of different tastes. However, for the most part, I like what you produce, so it's all good.
You can't see color? You got the color blind gene then? That's shitty.

Great shot, I like the POW here, very nice to see something in the background, taking away a bit of the light in the front
Very good job
