this reminds me of the Purple Maurader from the Poison Elves series. The art, that is. i like your style. it's not that overly-glamourous anime style everyone seems to love so much.

I so remember the Poison Elves series. I have much of the original stuff.
I tried to do anime style but I just don't feel comfortable with it cause its not my style. Ya anime/manga is sure is popular. One company I once sent my work into didn't like what I did but when I looked at what they were publishing, 90% was anime style stuff.
I like some anime and manga but after a while in all the shows the characters in manga especially cause its all b/w all look the same. Big eyes, little mouths, same body shapes. Thankfully at least America is kickin back with cartoons. . . or starting to. Metacolopse

yeah. its unfortuate that there's so much anime-ish influence here. i do like old retro and non-anime stuff, becuase you can count on it to not look like everything else.
