Edit: I just redid the hook to make it more definate. I think it looks better. More deeper color and all.---
This is a quick picture I did the other day at work. I had my watercolor pencils and my Lockdown toy so I did this
As I look at the picture now I can see the water. . .um, going around Lockdown. Totally by mistake. I just wanted to do something with what I had. Does make it look interesting.
I think I may touch up this picture a little too cause his hook didn't come out "dark" enough. Like to touch that up.

i think i'd like to see the colors be more saturated. like you've said before it's far too light. perhaps ypou should try some oil or chalk pastels?

The hook looks awkward I think--blocky rather than menacing. His expression is fitting enough though. I always thought watercolor pencils as hard to use because they're soft.
Lockdown is an interesting char, and I'm glad someone finally drew him. He's the only char that they wrote as being open about their intent with another char. Prowl of course, I thought the statement about having a 'spark to spark' while Prowl was tied up and then the offer of partnership was soooo tantalizing. Unlike BA and OP (which,I LOATH because she smacks of Mary Sue and Prime is SUCH a dupe).

Okay its official I'm going to have to see what i can do with that hook. It looks too light in the pic too.

Not so much guess--it was the story line that hit ME around the time of having written about your seekers picture--Bad Navigation or something (there were two version--the first was based on someone else art of Bltizwing having tied up Jazz and making cookies or something) and to be logical, it was safe to assume, that the idea popped into your head quite some time ago.
