This is an Apophysis fractal. It looks best in full view. I completely missed that I had spelled surprise under the actual fractal without the second R until I saw it today. Duh!Related content

That's the best description. It makes me think of cartoons when they would show a clock being broken and all the springs would pop out to sproinging noises.
