Description Another version of Ultraviolet World, but in blue. This is the final image ^^ I changed the atmosphere to look more blueish, sky made from scratch, new clouds added, and a more real texture for the stones was added too.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks a lot for the comments! ^^

I used Vue 8 xStream for the rendering and creation of this scene. It took me near 3 weeks to have this image completed (correcting model issues and re-making all the atmosphere to look more real than the previous, purple, version).

-ILLUMINATION-
Illumination is done using a Spectral Cloud layer inside the spectral atmosphere. This Spectral illumination technique uses Global Radiosity (something like MentalRay on MAX or MAYA), to simulate light reflections in every object in the scene.

-MODELS-

--Rocks--
Rocks are made using a special modeling technique. Vue 8 has its own rock-creation algorythm, but it is not real enough for me. I started messing around with basic shapes, like spheres, and combining them into a Metablob (water drop-like model) and adding some fractal based textures.

--Landscape--
I created the landscape using a fractal terrain. They are awesome because they can show a HUGE amount of detail, doesn't matter how far the camera is. They also generate in an aleatory way, so, using a few textures, You can make them look like something very real.

--Bushes--
Default plant models from Vue 8. Using an ecosystem (not populated) of these bushes allowed me to put them around the rocks.

Again, thanks for the comments ^^ I'll be answering any question you might have

Amazing! Which modelling software and renderer did you use?

Hey, thanks for your comment ^^ I've updated the description of the image to explain some of the things I used to create it ^^ The program I used to create this entire scene is Vue 8 xStream. It is the best natural enviroment creation program I have ever seen

Thanks for the comment and the fav! I have updated the description of my deviation to explain a few things about it ^^ I used Vue 8 xStream to render this, in combination with a few techniques that I explain on the description ^^
