this is such a cheerful and lively painting! i really like the colors used, and the fact that you made the fairies' wings transparent, many people would find that difficult and choose an opaque way of coloring them. it adds to the light-hearted feeling of the image.
oh, and i also like the fact that the fairies don't have those pointy ears everyone bestows them with, they look more like little girls having a blast acting as fairies.
another well executed work, with it's fair touch of originality.

Lol! Thank you for the comment Lumysaara. The painting is for someone's children, and the wings were the last thing I'd painted cuz I wasn't sure about giving them wings in the first place!
I'm working on another piece now though with the same pointy ears thing - don't be too hard on me when she's posted

The fairy is nice. I like the wings from her. There you can really believe that she can fly with this, instead of these fairys with so small wings ^^
