Saw the DD and thought, I should try scripting something like that! So there you have it. The interface components are from bit101's minimal comps [link]

Description of controls:

waveMod: controls the amount of wavelength modulation
amplitude: multiplies the height of the waves
ampMod: controls the amount of amplitude modulation
steps: adjust the number of steps the lines take to draw across the screen. mostly for performance reasons, usually you would want this as high as possible, but more waves*more steps = higher cpu usage
speed: speed at which everything moves
numLines: number of lines to simultaneously draw
color fade: how quickly to reduce the color blurring
