This is a spider is saw while eating breakfast... so like the photographer that i am I decided to grab the camera >.<----------------------------------------------------------------------------

yea id love to get an DSLR but i never thought i took enough pictures to warrent geting one, although since i got a DA account ive sorta got an urge to take pictures xD

Well you see , to get a DSLR you shouldn't be taking loads of photos necessarily 
Just ones which require a lot more depth to them and more adjustments

hmmmmm i also get the feeling there better for pictures of wildlife and the like? which is somthing id like to photopgrah, but its rather difficult with the camera i have

This is a very nice shot and I do not believe that the blue looks flat. It's gives a much needed contrast to the wood(?) surface the spider is crawling on and in fact provides a sense of height which is always a good thing with spider photos!

ewww...hate spiders..lol...but u definitely were sharp in catching him...i like his angle a lot...but truthfully i'd have to say the background has left me a little confused. the part that he is connected to is strong but the blue seems a little...ummm..how do i say it...
