Some notes:

1: I believe you need to have downloaded create.swf for this to work, if you use the online version, it won't let you import anything.
2: If your custom prop is located in the same folder that create.swf is, you only need to type the name of the prop (ex: "Jar.png") into the import box.
3: Also, if your prop is located in a folder (for this example, the folder is named "customs") and that folder is located in the same folder that create.swf is, then you only need to type in the folder name and the name of the prop, separated by a "/" (ex: "customs/Jar.png")

What happens if your swf is adobe flash player 10?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

DarkJar001 In reply to PokeDigit626 [2016-03-04 09:09:42 +0000 UTC]

Nothing! This works in ANY flash player.
As long as you don't change the files location.

My downloads don't work when I import, do they pop on the screen or appear on
the props section?

DarkJar001 In reply to PokeDigit626 [2016-03-06 23:38:17 +0000 UTC]

Were you able to fully download it? try to double-click it and see if it's not a broken download.
Or maybe you weren't able to import it correctly? double-check if it's the right location you typed.

Well, the file's says create and it's file name is Application (.exe) and I have a question though,
does the picture have to be put inΒ  flashdrive?

DarkJar001 In reply to PokeDigit626 [2016-03-07 23:35:20 +0000 UTC]

Nope.
Wait, is the prop you're trying to put an image file, like .png and .jpg?

They should appear in the upper-left corner, behind the title bar.

Don't see it there....

FullHitPoints In reply to PokeDigit626 [2016-03-05 02:01:59 +0000 UTC]

Are you sure you're doing it correctly? It's best you put them in the same directory that you saved Create.swf in, so you have shorten the file-path that you have to type. For instance, I have my arms in a folder called "arms," and inside that folder are a group of folders named after each character. So, if I wanted an arm for Parsee, I would type:

arms/parsee/arm.png

Still don't see it....

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

FullHitPoints In reply to PokeDigit626 [2016-03-05 07:38:33 +0000 UTC]

My hypothesis then is that it's being imported properly, but you just can't see it because of its transparency. Try pressing M to activate Manipulator Mode, then press the [ or ] keys to cycle through the available objects. If you see something in the upper-left corner called "SCREENSHOT #", that's your prop.

wait a minute, I'm trying to import this item into my create.swf from my pictures, doess it
have to be imported from a flashdrive?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

FullHitPoints In reply to PokeDigit626 [2016-03-07 07:42:27 +0000 UTC]

No, no, no. It just has to be in the same folder that you've saved create.swf in.

Oh hey, this is a pretty helpful tutorial for me, too.
Just wondering, but does the same principle work for custom backgrounds as well (with the main difference being to send the background "prop" to the back also)?
