I hate some OCs..But I NEVER SHALL I CALL them marysues..as I HATE THEM!. I people call them, cuz they hate him. I bet more then half the time. Shitty characters, or amazing. People who hate them, do I see.. it a lot

This should about sum it up. In this case, however, it means "canon character", as in a character who appears in a given body of work. (Harry Potter is a canon character in the book series of the same name.)
