Description
This is a dip pen & ink drawing of a photo I took while out walking in a particularly remote and spooky area of Sutton Park near where I live, with a Roman road and well nearby. Suddenly I looked up to see hundreds of crows had alighted upon the many tall birch trees surrounding me - it was very atmospheric to be there amongst them all. I might upload the photos at some point too...

This is a lovely drawing with beautiful linework and well balanced.B^) Trees are so much more interesting without their shroud of leaves.

I do love spindly bare trees, steely skies and cawing crows. Aesthetically winter is right up my street, and this sums up the best of it. However I don't like the damned cold!

I know what you mean - it is so atmospheric - as long as you are indoors with a good fire or have a very big coat on
