Description
I was looking at a recent submission by and I wanted to try a little how-to he had posted. I hate how the structure of the face turned out but I'm in love with the shading on the hair.Shout out thanks to AlmostKungFu!!!

Dude, I'm honored!
Thanks man, for giving me an application of my tutorial! I've gotta say I love the results too.. Great values, and yeah, love the hair!
He looks so star trek.

Hmmm, haven't really watched a lot of star trek
Only some episodes of next generation! But he's somehow got that cheesy 90's sci-fi look! ^_^

The hair is pretty sweet, but stop using the smudge tool. That is cheating in every way. Blend using the eyedropper (I forget the shortcut on Macs but there is one, and it's the Alt key on PCs).

meh, in theory the eyedropper is just as cheaty as the smudge.
not saying you haven't got a point though; it's tough to control the smudge...

The eyedropper at least gives a much more precise and manual blend, not to mention more control over the colors. I guess what I'm saying is it looks much better than the smudge tool
