Description
Bound together by this broken world,Shards, like us,
pieced together,
by fate.
We run like the wind through these steal and stone trees,
we laugh like there is nothing left to loose,
we cry like the rain that rusts these steel monsters, our well steeled souls, rusting and weathered,
And we fight like our actions could change the world.
We are hunted,
we hunt.
We are fierce,
but we are kind.
we are noble,
but we do not loose ourselves to the path.
Some will die,
some will betray,
some will live,
and some will regret.
But nothing can take our will,
nor tame our spirit,
nor kill our courage.

This is the massive project i've been speaking of. Take a minuet and look at it as a whole, then, fullview and see it for its detail.
This took me three months approximately. Every character is drawn and rendered full sized seperately, then they were placed together. the backdrop was drawn as the foreground was completely drawn in photoshop. These most of the major characters from my story.
There are to many to list here and I don't expect you to read them all but expect more pics with these characters in the future, perhaps even dossiers. Enjoy mates, an please comment. I put my heart into this one.
Btw, all these characters belong to me and are copyrighted. The poem is original too. please be respectful.

Now that I have a clue about what is going on...
It's a complicated picture, beset by the complications of the plot which is weaved within.
I don't really feel like I can critique something like this. There's too much of a soul in there to talk about petty artistic qualms. It's a good picture that exceeds its technical and aesthetic merits because it lives and breathes on its own. I'm not certain where those merits are-I can't look at it with quite the sort of steel eyed cold bloodedness I look at most things.
I'll say this. Dusk definately has a lot of presence in the picture.

The spickel texturing dosent look corect to me. I think you should try to make them smaller so it looks more like sand or the little bumps on wall.

It looks pretty good for a pic with many charicters but they seem really out of place with the background, the back ground's stly is qutie difernt from the charicter style and creates a distraction from the art it self if you want more focuse on the charicters then the BG desaturat the color but to put two difernt styles together distracts the veiwer. some issue's with perporshion here and there, some charicters hands a far too big for their body type, and one of the girls looks orange it could be my monotor or an issue with deviantart. other than that reall good the page set up is nicely done with a flow to it. if you put shadows on the ground it can help git this pic a better 3D feel to it and perhaps bright the charicters and Background together more. Good pic, with more work i can see it making to the deviantart daily favorets!

Well thanks matey. Yea, most of what you said was right except....orange girl? There is two characters i'm thinking you could mean. The girl with the blue hair, who has a slightly opacly orange tint, this is because her race tends to have skin tones that lean toward odd colors, or the native american girl holding the book, which on my moniter appears maybe a little off for a good bronze but not that bad. so it could be your monitor, or it could be mine, but if anything, in the print I had made it's a few shades darker so...
But anyway, thank you kindly for the thought out crit and taking that kinda time with it. and it's all good information. peace mate XD
