I can't stand it when people call us names like that. I say us referring to anyone with these types of problems. I have asthma, and they call me things like a druggie, a problem child, a liar, a burden, a faker for attention, and broken. They say it's my own fault. Its hard, but thats why we need to stick together and stay strong. I'm so happy that there are people who are proud of what they are, and wont let people get them down for being that way.

oddly enough people at my college think that thoes with ADHA =me aspergesrs =you and so on so are all dumb and stupid but oddly enough im one of the smartist people in my class

awe!my daughter is 9 too! and both my daughter and i are aspies.she too is getting to do much cosplay and is finding therapy in it. it is strange and wonderful how much life makes you and i find many things in common over and over again

awe she is such s good "L" does she walk around with sweets each time she cosplays as him?i like that her real hair looked just like it instead of a wig.i think ciel hair will look good on even girls even out side of costumes.
my daughter is this [link] her next costume she wants inuyasha or naruto ill be making her inuyasha this year and the joker. she too cuts her hair for costumes,she cut it for batman to look like christian bale.

[link] thats a more recent pic of her,she looks much like me except paler skin and hair and her eyes are true blue instead of gray.her dad was blonde and green eyed though so she got much from him.[was actually very enrico looking lol] he is still a good friend of mine.

I honestly can't understand the mentality that people need to be 'cured' simply because they are different. I really can't. Different races, different religions, different sexual orientations, all these are fine, but when it comes to how your brain functions, you have to be exactly like everyone else, or suffer their ignorant crap. I have ADHD. Not really the same situation as having Asperger's, but people still think that I need to be put on medication to make me 'better'.
We should make a word for people like that. How about 'Neuralist', one who discriminates against people because of how their brain works?
Sorry to rant, but I really just hate it when people are made fun of just because of how their mind works.

i was just recently diagnosed with aspergers syndrome a while back and im still learning about it... at times i feel stupid cus im different and im in special education but thats mostly cus of my attention deficit disorder as well but i know there are people out there with ADD and autism that have become really successful in life...

well i would say this article sum up well the main thing.
except the "big memory" idea. All aspergers dont have the same
high abilities or talents. We just share 80% of the same symptoms
, then its diverses for everyone.
i dont have a good memory ( like the guy who can draw a whole entire city , dont know if you know him )
But i have a high attention to non esthetic details, shapes, and so on.

ohh now i get it... most of my anxiety disorder comes from me being scared to talk to people.. like i get too nervous around people.. dont know what to say and sometimes i get too hyper/crazy but most of the time i prefer to be alone... idk im just like used to being quiet..

maybe thats why im scared of whales cus they make such loud noises that it makes me shake to much..... hmmm
ive noticed lately that if im standing still for periods of times ill start twisting my body back and worth or shaking my arms/hands...
