this pic reminds me of woody allen's manhattan, the whole sequence at the Hayden Planetarium... the concept of space and dimness, as if light exists only as a consequence of shadows. i absolutely love the lighting and the look in your face, or what we can see of it. congrats mate.

Nice contrasting shades of gray,I feel the that side with what appears to be a flame give you the feeling of the danger of the cig. hangin' out of the person's

its really good. i love it it. not that you havent heard that from everyone else but it is really good and you should be proud. i love the shape of the lighting and how the shadow falls. Light reminds me of the light from a flashlight maybe. its a really beautiful shot.

Are you unpleased having a work this old reach daily deviation, and have a bunch of people suddenly popping up and say things like 'this is great!'? It is, no doubt, but you've recent work that is so much better. It's almost an insult they've chosen this piece.

Thanks for your appreciation of my works, I also don't think this particular one was the best of them, but far be it from being unpleased. Just because it isnt the best i have to offer, doesnt in any way lessen the honor given when they decided to feature this specific shot.
