After weeks of searching, Rouge has finally discovered the location of Eggman's hidden base. Doctor made sure the base almost impossible to locate, but this could never possibly stop our winged jewel hunter. The bat girl made her way inside with relative ease and, keeping quiet, started venturing through the base, avoiding the attention of Eggman's bots. She knew what she was after, rumors were pointing to the fact that the mad doctor has found one of the seven Chaos Emeralds and, of course, Rouge, being the selfless heroine she is, decided to take the powerful gem away from the villain... and possibly keep it to herself... for safety measures.
As she crawled through vents and cut corners, she began to get more and more irritated. The base seemed rather dull and empty! No sight of the doctor himself and, most importantly, she could not figure out where Eggman kept his valuables. She almost sighed with relief when she found the stash.
Within minutes, she made her way inside and started searching through heaps of various tech garbage the doctor was probably very proud off. The contents of the place soon made Rouge realise there was no way Eggman would keep one of the most powerful entities in the world in a place like that. As she turned back with defeat, she faced an Egg Pawn with a mop, who seemed rather confused at the sudden intruder inside the stash he was tasked to clean. A moment of hesitation from both. Rouge, realising she let her guard down while searching, regained her thinking first and kicked the robot aside, rushing to the exit. The bot, in turn, started shouting about the uninvited guest. Apparently, much to Rouge's dismay, robots shared a com link or some sort of a connection to the Eggnet, which spread the news of her being on the base rather quickly. All forces quickly turned their attention to detaining the impudent bat. Rouge was skilled, but there was simply far too many of them. All the kicking and dodging only got her so far. Soon enough she was in the middle of a pile of Egg Pawns, all clinging on to her or at least trying. One sharp hit on the fluffy head from an iron fist and everything went dark for our unlucky snoop.
Rouge woke up inside the very stash she searched through previously. She tried moving, but of course, that wasn't really possible. Eggman's mechanical henchemen cuffed her into a hogtie with some fancy glowing restraints and, to give technology some credit, these pulled her arms to her legs pretty strong. The trapped bat tugged and struggled against her restraints, when she caught a glimpse of robot's conversation.
"So... what do we do with her now?"
"I don't know. Master might still need her for something... so... let's just wait for his return and make sure she doesn't escape by then"
"This sounds like a good plan. He might even be happy with us for once!"
Rouge's eyes widened. As she had suspected, the doctor wasn't present at the time, but this was hardly any good news as she understood he could be coming back any second now and the last thing she wanted is to end up as a prisoner of his. This gave the bat captive even more motivation to struggle and scream further, sweating as she did. Rouge definitely didn't want to stay in this stash cuffed all nicely and wait for Eggman to come back. On the bright side, though, at least this stash now had something truly valuable inside of it~

This is sort of supposed to be a pic, celebrating 400 watchers on here, but we're pretty far past that, so I don't think there's really a point in tying it to the milestone. Once again, though, thanks to you all!
The picture itself was lots of fun to work on for numerous reasons. First and most obvious, this is a collab and I haven't really done any of those yet, so it's fairly exciting on it's own. Pretty neat when you only have to do half the work, which is why I decided to put a detailed backround in here just like in old times. Huge props to Nightrain54, as the coloring job is superb along with the shading. The second and less obvious thing that kept me excited is the fact that this is my first proper hogtie. Sure, I had, like... a sketch of one before? This is a fully finished pic, however, and I do think it looks rather great~
