am sick, literally,my hands are trembling so much i could just only manage to finish colouring her skirt and her expanding 'S' shaped jacket...and even then, she's still on the rough side entry for 's contest, 'Sculpt For Me, Arty!' [link]

Vaengir means wings in old Norse. i did her lineart some weeks after i did Vaengir , but never gotten round to colouring her. will upload lineart on a later date after am well;;;. she's my original character. meant for her to appear in my comic one day, but she will look a bit different then!

time taken to do her:4 days, on and off, in between work and sleep, roughly 55 hours.

hurray, results are out! though i am sorry i didn't make it to the grand prize, i am still glad i managed to be a finalist!^^ i really learn a lot when doing this piece, i hope i can now paint like this without inhibition and faster in future~finally my colouring style is catching up to my lineart skills^^ hurray!,hehe, imagine all the havoc i can wreck with every hapiness for those 3 months~hahaXDDD

+++updates 3+++ forgot to flesh her out;;;XP

lady vaengir, she is the tribal leader for the winged tribes far up north, where it's cold. the tribe there usually have fair skin, but she has tanned skin, as she's a mix, her mother from the south where it's warm. nevertheless, she retains her tribe's ability to withstand the cold and frost.

the surrounding environment:
a mix of old age with new age technology, hence her fusion designs. the people there have a genetic blend with other creatures. the vaengir tribes blended with the birds, and lady vaengir's happened to be an owl.

she will be used in a comic i had in mind, but her role will be completely different from what i typed above. yeah, i know, u are probably going 'what the!?' now right?hahahaha8D
