Backstory:
She works for a Microsoft-like video game developer as a 3D modeler/animator/scripter, which additionally wants to buy out all other developers. Since she possesses the most combat capability in the company, the company contracted her to reduce the market value of other developers so they could eventually monopolize the electronic entertainment industry.
Personality:
As a female gamer, she is cunning and knows what male gamers want, and can get anything out of them. Outside of this persona, she is very antisocial and spends all her time working or playing video games.
Although she memorized her full name, she usually just writes "Fable Halo" on her business cards and since her siblings all prefer to use their mother's last name in social settings, she uses "Fable Teverle" in general conversation, despite the fact their mother has gone mad and has already become a supervillain.
Since she works in the gaming industry, she has "volunteered" to do external work and has received no compensation for it. Therefore, she will not perform any work if she receives nothing for it. If other people jump at such tasks despite receiving no pay, she will take advantage of them and have them do it anyway.
Due to anti-video game activists claiming that video games are little more than murder simulators, she does not want to add fuel to the fire, so her principle is not to kill any living humanoids (at least intentionally) when she performs her work. She adjusts the degree of her violence based on a gamer's perception of the person--she has no objection to causing drastic harm to NPCs, while she is more lenient with people that are distinct, but goes all-out when fighting boss characters. In other words, she is not interested in breaking the game's T for Teen rating.
Because she is in danger of having to take pay cuts, she is always looking for anything she can patent or take concept art from and make money off it.
Despite her willingness to conduct industrial sabotage, she is actually somewhat cowardly and will flee if she knows that she cannot win, unless she is fighting against Magiseeker.
She has no romantic interest in living beings, preferring the dating sims she has customized and brought to life with her holograms. This is partially because most of the people interested in her when she was younger were human males and she thought them hideous, and they were supposedly also disloyal to all of the girls they dated, so she just decided to bring characters from her dating sims to life, as they would be unquestionably loyal to her and she could reprogram them to do whatever she wanted even if they were contrary to their character behavior. If she acts like she likes someone, it is usually part of her act.
Weapons:
The brain implant she has allows her to generate (solid) holograms with her mind wherever there are hologram generators, as well as locate exactly where each hologram generator is relative to her location. The company she works for provides her with an endless number of them, as they are exploring the latest in 3D gaming technology. They are also child-resistant so they are not easy to be destroyed.
The hologram generators she wields are also able to shoot lasers, a modification she made to the laser web the hologram generators used to make the holograms tangible. If the laser isn't shot in a direct line from the projection area (as in if it's shot from midair), its power is lower.
Other skills:
- As a cheetah, is very fast and acrobatic and able to use martial arts alongside her technology.
- Able to hack since she has to recognize hacks when playing FPSs, and therefore has reverse-engineered them.
- Has some degree of paralegal skill that allows her to slow the operations of companies with red tape.
- If she has sufficient hologram generators set up, she can triangulate the location of anything in the room and have her holograms instantly aim for that location (in other words, "aimbot").
Some notes:
While she has to have a 3D grid to work with, she can use practically any sort of display device as a projector or triangulation point, including cell phones, iPads, TVs, and so on, as long as it's a wireless device.
She also has access to giant ones that can cover an entire city (like in MegaMan NT Warrior), but they are very expensive, so she doesn't use them except in huge battles.
Using these hologram generators, she can generate holographic clothes and alter the shape of her body, so she doesn't need to wear anything other than some green-screen or mocap clothes.
