This is my charcoal distorted self-portrait. Mine actually ended up not being that distorted with the exception of my too large eye and my ogre teeth. The picture was taken at a weird angle and I accidentally cut off the best part of my hair on top and the bottom of my hand. Mine is one of the best three in the class. Kincaid said that I did the two taboo things which are hands and teeth (and I was the only one who did) but that it was ok because I drew them perfectly. So that's my little bragging moment for now. I'm choking on nothing so I have to go now.enjoi

Thanks. A lot of people from my class submitted their distorted self portraits and altered grounds too so I'm still wondering how they're gonna pick and choose through all of those for their gold seals. Out of all of the people who brought their charcoal self portraits I only know one who got a three, the rest got four, and I only know of one that wasn't even placed.

I actually heard some of the awards were outsourced in Haiti and are no longer available but I'm not sure how true this is. In Division 1 we don't move on for whatever reason so we were going to get medals (puh!), and then were told that...
It wasn't just skillfully done, it was interesting, and definitely an amazing piece. I haven't seen the other's work but I have confidence you will do very well. Are you taking a class?

Thanks, me too, and that's why I put them there. He didn't forbid it or anything, he just basically told us not to if we didn't want it to suck cause he knows people normally suck at teeth and hands, but that mine were good so it didn't matter.
